To My Fellow Airline Professionals,
It is my honor and privilege to represent DHL as your 2018 Airline Chairman. On behalf of the DHL family and my 2018 Supplier Chairman, Chris Schroh of AkzoNobel, we cordially invite you and your company to share our vision of "Communication Across Generations" at the 62nd Annual Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC) being held August 18-21, 2018 at the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.
As 2017 draws to a close, we often review our professional accomplishments, along with missed opportunities. We received very positive feedback on ACPC 2017 in San Diego, California so thank you to those of you who made the commitment to enhance your professional experience and showcase your company. If you missed the opportunity to attend, please mark your calendars and begin to seek the proper management approval to attend the 2018 conference. Our airline audience is expanding to include major and regional airlines, cargo carriers, leasing companies, air ambulance service providers and now the rotor wing and fixed wing operators.
The 2018 Conference Committee, Airline Steering Committee and the ACPC Board of Directors are diligently working on the 2018 "Communication Across Generations" agenda and making note of the feedback received at the Closed Airline Meeting. We accomplished the most popular suggestion in September by sending a "Save the Date" to ensure the ACPC was on your calendar and for budgeting purposes. In the interim, please send any new ideas or comments to me. Remember, one voice can make a difference! Together we can change an industry! This intimate setting allows us as an industry to discuss common challenges and provide innovative solutions you can take back to your company and apply.
As you begin to plan your travel budgets for 2018, I encourage you to include the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference as a "must attend" event. Registration opens on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 9:00 AM EASTERN. Make the commitment to not miss this opportunity in 2018. I encourage you to visit the ACPC website regularly, www.acpc.com for emerging conference and agenda updates.
